Club profile and history

Glenrothes Strollers Girls come under the umbrella of our parent club, Glenrothes Strollers F.C. We have been established since June 2010 and have gone from strength to strength during our relatively short history. Our club currently have four girls teams, playing in the following age groups:

Under 9’s; Under 11’s; Under 13's and Under 15’s who all play within the East Region leagues of the SWF.

Girls of all abilities and skill levels are welcome at our club. Our aim is to create a fun learning environment for our players and coaches in order to help them strive to be the best they can be.

We have seven volunteer coaches within the section who are all disclosure PVG checked with first aid and SFA coaching courses to level 2/3. To find out more about our coaches click here.

Joining and Volunteering at the Club

If you would like to join as a player please come along to one of our training nights. You must bring a parent or guardian with you on your first session, who will also be asked to fill in a consent form with emergency contact details.

The first training session you attend will be free, then £10 per month thereafter (to be paid at the start of each month).

It is encouraged that you wear shin pads for safety while taking part in training and during matches.

We are always looking for volunteers, not only for coaching, but also for the many other duties that are required to run a successful community club. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you are interested in volunteering.
